Eden Green Technology is a next-generation vertical farming company dedicated to making fresh, nutrient-dense produce locally accessible and affordable. Their hydroponic vertical farming technology, housed in cutting-edge greenhouses, allows them to grow produce year-round while conserving land, water, and energy.


The Challenge


When our partnership began in June 2020, Eden Green wanted a marketing plan to establish its organic footprint as a leading vertical farm and hydroponic produce grower. 

The primary challenge was to build brand awareness and organic visibility from the ground up in the competitive Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) market. They needed a long-term strategy to establish topical authority, attract relevant traffic, and convert that traffic into high-quality leads for their sales pipeline. 

Eden Green was not only competing with established players but also with a constant influx of news content about vertical farming, hydroponics, and sustainable agriculture.

Therefore, the core challenges were twofold. First, we needed to build brand awareness and organic visibility from a near-zero starting point. Second, we had to focus on strategy. This meant attracting not just any traffic, but establishing deep topical authority.


The Solution


Eyeful Media developed and executed a multi-faceted, long-term strategy focused on strategic content development, a full-site page relaunch, and foundational technical improvements.

Strategic Blog Content & Topical Authority

To build a robust network of internal links and establish authority, we implemented a comprehensive content strategy:

  • Audience-First Approach: We worked with Eden Green to develop detailed audience personas. These personas served as the foundation of our content strategy, ensuring every article was tailored to address their target audience's specific needs, questions, and pain points.

  • Process: Our strategy began with deep content ideation and keyword research. For each approved topic, we developed in-depth content briefs, complete with competitor analysis, before writing the content. This meticulous process ensured every piece was engineered to improve brand visibility.

After building detailed audience personas that became the backbone of our copywriting and content efforts, we redeveloped and relaunched their essential pages to improve user experience and conversion rates. 

This initiative included refreshing their produce pages, core audience pages, and pages detailing their custom processing and labeling services. We also overhauled content explaining Eden Green’s unique technology and general company information, such as their mission, greenhouse technology, and FAQs.

Targeting AI and the Future of Search

Recognizing the shift towards generative AI in search, we implemented a forward-thinking strategy to position Eden Green for success in AI Overviews and other conversational search formats.

  • Building Deep Topical Authority: We worked to establish Eden Green as an authoritative information hub on its core topics. This involved an editorial strategy with extensive content clustering, covering all relevant topics and subtopics within its niche. This approach strengthened the site’s internal linking structure and helped AI models recognize Eden Green’s deep expertise.

  • Implementing Comprehensive Schema Markup: We deployed a wide range of schema types to provide search engines with explicit context. This structured data helps AI models understand the purpose of each page, from product details to answers to common questions.
